DRILLER'S HELPER

Barker Lemar Geothermal Services is seeking a driller's helper.  Our office is located in West Des Moines, Iowa, but job sites will be located throughout Iowa. Candidates do not need to live in the Des Moines area; just be willing to travel to job sites as well as travel to Des Moines for the interview process. Schedules include weekends with the possibility of 4-on/4-off shifts. Company pays for lodging, food and transportation while you are out of town.

This is a highly physical job working in all weather conditions and long hours each day. Our crews do work in the winter as long as work and weather cooperates.

Experience in construction as well as skidsteer/forklift operation a plus. Candidates must be self-motivated, hard working, clean drivers license, ability/desire to work outside, ability/desire to travel, professional attitude and appearance. Pre-employment background check, physical and drug screening is required.

The position offered is full-time with overtime after 40 hours. Starting wage is $12.00 per hour. A benefit package is available after an initial waiting period (health, dental, life, short and long term disability).


SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Barker Lemar Petroleum Services is seeking a service technician. This position is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, maintaining and repairing various types of electronic petroleum equipment including dispensers, tank monitors and P.O.S. systems as well as some light construction and concrete work. We are seeking professional, well-organized, energetic and responsible individuals with strong communication and customer service skills. Prior repair experience in the Petroleum Industry is preferred but not required. Individual must have strong mechanical and electrical skills, work independently, and provide quality workmanship. Certifications on Ruby, Dresser Wayne, Gilbarco, Veeder Root, Petrovend, Gasboy, etc. a plus. Formal electronic and/or PC repair training is a plus.
